A 50 kW fast charging station supplied by InterControl has been installed at Pyhän Laurin Church, allowing an EV battery to be fully charged during a church service.
The fast charger enables charging at 50 kW for one vehicle or two vehicles simultaneously at 25 kW. Payment options are also user-friendly – charging can be paid conveniently via the eParking app or directly with a credit card.
A charging station is now mandatory for all non-residential buildings with more than 20 parking spaces
It’s great to see churches and congregations supporting the development of electric mobility. The Carbon-Neutral Church 2030 goal is becoming a reality as the electricity for these charging stations is partially produced by solar panels installed on church and parish buildings.
