Smart EV charging solution in a shared parking cave for four housing companies
A shared parking cave for four housing companies needed to meet the growing demand for EV home charging among residents. The solution was implemented with future scalability in mind, resulting in a modern charging infrastructure that combines efficiency, flexibility, and ease of use.
The project involved installing charging readiness for a total of 104 parking spaces, enabling the immediate deployment of over 60 INCH Pro chargers. The charging readiness was built using EAE MK 160 A busbars, consisting of eight busbar rails, and the chargers were installed on pillars due to uneven wall surfaces.
The parking garage was equipped with a scalable dynamic load management system with over 400 A capacity, ensuring that power consumption remains balanced. A wireless connection was also included to facilitate the management and monitoring of the charging system. The solution was designed to be flexible and scalable to accommodate future needs, allowing for the easy addition of chargers as the number of users increases.
