InterControl’s product range introduces the long-awaited new addition – the Mennekes AMTRON® Professional Twincharge charging station. Menneke’s Twincharge solution enables two electric vehicles to be charged simultaneously with a single charging unit. It is specifically designed for semi-public and public parking facilities.
Mennekes Twincharge reduces installation costs and saves space
The Twincharge charging station features a compact design and highly flexible installation options. It can be conveniently mounted on a wall or on a pole. Up to two charging stations can be installed on a single pole, providing as many as four charging points from one installation location.
The intelligent Twincharge offers charging power of up to 22 kW per charging point, dynamic load management, and user-specific authentication via RFID tags. The station includes an integrated MID-certified energy meter and all required protective devices. It is available with either Type 2 sockets or fixed charging cables, with Plug & Charge functionality available as an option. The system supports dynamic, phase-specific load management for up to 100 charging points.
Easy management with Mennekes Charge Point Manager
Managing the Mennekes Twincharge charging station is straightforward thanks to the free Mennekes Charge Point Manager software. All AMTRON Professional series charging stations can be centrally configured and managed, saving valuable time for installers and operators in particular.
All protective devices integrated
Safe charging is ensured through fully integrated residual current circuit breakers, miniature circuit breakers and DC residual current monitoring are integrated directly into the unit as effective protective devices and no longer need to be added later during installation.
